치기 어린 장난감들이 놀이를 영화로 만들었으나, 영화 내용은 큰 의미를 만들어 내고 있는 디즈니의 3D 애니메이션. 환상과 현실, 이상과 한계를 이보다 쉽고 재미있게 설명할 수 있는 소설이나 영화가 있을 수 있을까 합니다.
3. 영화에서 배울만한 영어 어휘
이 영화는 아이들 눈높이로 만들어 진 영화이기는 하지만, 여전히 우리에게는 영어 공부용으로 사용하기에는 생각보다 어렵습니다. 왜냐하면, 우리가 알고 있는 영어 단어는 미국 아이들이 유아기 시절에 배운 단어와 차이가 있기 때문입니다. 그리고, 미국 아이들이라도 그들은 생각보다도 많은 단어를 알고 있습니다.
swine, flock, weasel 등이 미국 아동들이 배우는 사례입니다. 그리고, riddance, jettisons, atrocities 이런 단어는 아이들이 사용하기에는 어려워 보이는 단어들입니다.
그리고, 발음 속도가 빠른 편입니다. 또박 또박 말하지도 않습니다. 반복 듣기 연습을 통해서 익혀나가야 합니다.
