솔직히 영화 내용을 이해하지 못했습니다. 그냥 코메디 영화 같기도 하면서도 뭔가 암시하는 듯 하기도 하고, 어려운 영화입니다. 영화에서 가장 중요한 재미는 있었습니다.

제목 펄프(pulp)는 나무로 종이를 만들기 위해서 부드럽게 만든 것을 뜻합니다. 또한 위 사진에 나온 것처럼, lurid(충격적)인 타블로이드 잡지나 책을 의미하기도 합니다. 그래서 그런지 영화 내용도 충격적으로 구성되어 있습니다.
3. 영화에서 배울만한 영어 어휘
영어 공부용으로도 좋은 편은 아닙니다. 욕이 너무 많고 대사가 빠릅니다.

살인을 하기전에 성경을 암송하는 악당이 자신에게 일어난 행운을 divine intervention이라고 믿는 장면은 sarcasm으로 보이나, 너무 진지해서 감독의 의도를 파악하기 어렵습니다.
