2. 영화 감상평
오리지널 스파이더 맨에서 보여준 평범한 학생, 어쩔때는 학교에서 왕따(bully)를 당하고 사는 어리 버리한 모습을 가지고 있었습니다.
그러나, 스파이더 맨 홈 커밍에 나오는 스파이더 맨은 완전 다른 성격을 가진 히어로입니다. 말도 많고 자기하고 싶은 데로하는 보통 미국 젊은이를 보여주는 듯 합니다. 거기에 어벤져스 일원으로 합류도 합니다. 과거의 스파이더 맨이 가지고 있던 정체성이 어벤져스 히어로로 새롭게 거듭 나게 됩니다.
3. 영화에서 배울만한 영어 어휘
전반적으로 영어 공부하기에 쉬운 교재는 아닙니다. 어휘도 어렵지만 말이 너무 빠릅니다. 아마도 영화의 템포에 맞추어 빠른 속도로 대화가 오가고 있습니다.
스크립트 3번 salvage은 save와 비슷한 '구원'하다란 뜻입니다. 그런데 다른 의미를 갖고 있는 형용사형savage(야만스러운)와 서로 혼동되기 쉽습니다.
8번 narrating은 대화 도중에 catch하기 어려운 단어 중 하나입니다. 반복 듣기가 필요합니다.
28번 detention은 학생이 경미한 잘못을 한 경우, 일종의 벌로 방과 후에 남아서 설교를 듣는 벌칙인 모양입니다.
새로운 단어를 암기하려고 하기 보다는 문장내에서 어떻게 사용되는지에 주목해서 들어보세요.
