2. 영화 감상평
제가 어릴 적에는 나름 감명 깊게 본 영화입니다.
그런데, 이번에 다시 보니, 내 살인은 착한 살인이고, 너 마약 장사는 나쁜 행위라고 꾸짓는 장면이 좀 우스워 보입니다.
3. 영화에서 배울만한 영어 어휘
나름데로 영어 듣기 공부하기 좋은 영화입니다. 말론 브란도(돈 비토 코를레오네)가 발음을 뭉게고 있기는 하나 전반적으로 꽤 명확하게 발음해 주고 있습니다.
그리고, 오래된 자막 특성은 실재 배우 음성내용과 불일치 한다는 것입니다. 아마 이때 만들어진 자막은 청각 장애인 위한 이해를 돕기 용도로 제작되어기 때문일 듯합니다.
예를 들면 10번 문장 자막은 no matter로 시작하나 실제 배우 음성은 I don't care로 시작됩니다. 나름데로 찾는 재미를 주고 있네요. 7번 terrific은 미국 영화 볼때마다 등장합니다. 우리가 익히 알고 있는 terrible과는 상이한 뜻입니다. 5번 parole와 24번 parlor은 구분이 되시는 분은 정말 영어를 잘하시는 분 이겠죠!!
