이번엔 살해범이 콜롬보의 직속상관인 경찰국장입니다. 이번에도 콜롬보 특유의 함정수사를 합니다. 내용은 전반적으로 쇼킹하고 특이합니다. 보는 내내 긴장감도 있습니다. 한가지 아쉬운점은 경찰청장이 자신의 와이프를 살해하는데 수십년을 같이 살아온 사람을 자신의 업적을 위해서 너무 쉽게 살해한 듯한 인상입니다. 콜롬보 드라마의 최대 약점인 살해 동기가 너무나 약합니다. 하지만 보는 동안 콜롬보의 활약에 눈을 뗄 수 없습니다.
