주요 직업 : 컨츄리음악 가수(singer)
(자기 부인을 살해하기 위해서 혼자 낙하산으로 비행기에서 탈출하는 장면)
한국전쟁에 참여했고, 취미로 경비행기를 운전하는 아주 유명한 컨츄리음악 가수(겸, 가스펠 싱어)가 부인이 자신을 새로운 교회를 짓는 도구로 이용하자 이들을 살해할 계획을 세웁니다. 즉, 경비행기로 이동하는 동안 수면제를 탄 커피를 먹여 잠이 들게하고, 자신은 몰래 낙하산으로 탈출을 합니다.
완벽에 가까운 살해를 저질러 콜롬보는 심증만 있고 물증이 없는 상태로 고민하던 중 콜롬보 특유의 함정수사를 감행합니다. 하지만 살해범은 그 함정수사마저 빠저나가 콜롬보가 의기 소침해 집니다. 나름 재미있습니다. 경비행기라는 소재도 그렇고 종교집단을 다루는 것도 그렇고 재미있었습니다.
